Senator Ted Stevens has broken our trust. After failing to reveal more than $250,000 in gifts from a corporate oil executive, Senator Stevens was convicted by a jury of his peers. The American people don't deserve this. We demand integrity and honesty in our public servants. We demand an open and transparent system. Most importantly, we demand a system that works for us, not for corporate friends with deep pockets.

Join presidential nominees Senator Barack Obama and Senator John McCain, in calling on Ted Stevens to step down from his Senate seat.

It's time to rid Washington of the corruption and outside influences that sap the voice of the people. Loss of integrity, dishonesty, and greed have devoured our faith in Senator Ted Stevens to do his job. Instead of fighting for the interests of the people of Alaska and the United States, he was busy fighting for the interests of corporate CEOs and oil companies. 

He has broken our trust. It's time to let another Alaskan step up and represent the Last Frontier state.

For this reason, we are calling on you to remove him from the Senate. Joining with both presidential candidates Senator Barack Obama and Senator John McCain we are requesting that you not allow a convicted felon continue to serve as a U.S. Senator.
